late post WOD, i know…
the workout last night, probably had to be one of my favorites. It consisted of 5 different exercises. Each exercise we did 8 rounds of before moving to the next exercise. Each round consisted of doing as many reps in 20 seconds, then resting for 10 seconds (hope that makes sense). Each round you counted how many reps you did. At the end of the last round, your final number consisted of the round with your lowest rep.
To start, we did parallette pushups…i managed to do about 7 per round until the last round, where i managed 5. So, my number for the pushups was 5.
Next we bear crawled, 20 seconds on, 10 off for 8 rounds. Couldnt really give a number for these so we all got smiley faces haha.
Then on to knees to elbows. Again, I managed about 7 a round until the last round, where I managed 5. Honestly, I think I could have done way more…it’s more so the grip that kills my hands.
Squat Jumps were next, which I kinda like. I was on a roll for the first two rounds and did 8…then my number gradually went down and I think I may have ended with 4 or 5, can’t remember now.
Last was rowing for calories. Long story short, first 5 rounds I rowed 4 calories per round, then I went down to 3 and finished all out with 4 again on the last round…however, my number was 3.
I have to say I really enjoyed this workout. Full body workout, kids had fun at the gym (Peyton loves to swing on the rings when class is over). What can I say, I really do love crossfit!

In honor of nurses week….
Happy Friday! I worked today and was super busy but checked out my gyms WOD…
It was 2 miles for time
So, after being on my feet at work all day, I came home and cleaned the house while the kids and hubby were gone and then ran 2 miles while the dishes were running. My time wasn’t the greatest though… It was 845 pm and really hard to see the uneven sidewalk so I ran a little slower than normal.
I think my time ended up being around 18 1/2 min or so. Now, I’m spent! Relaxing a bit before bed.
Ps, happy nurses week people!
