My name is Holly. I'm 28 years old, a mom of 2, a wife, a nurse, and a crossfit junkie. I'm determined to be an inspiration to my children and one hot mom!

Happy 4th birthday to my oldest son!  When I asked him what he wanted to do today he responded “go to the gym”. Haha.  We instead played, ate hibachi for dinner (his request) and played games at Frankie’s fun park.

Overall, I would say it was a pretty good day :)

What’s going on in my life?

Well, I’ve actually been doing really well in crossfit.. Still going consistently, still rx’ing a lot of stuff…
My diet on the other hand has royally sucked. While I still eat well I snack on a lot of bad stuff and drink a lot of lime-a-Rita’s! Damn you bud light.
Worked has sucked… I’m stressed and trying to apply everywhere. Plus, my husband had started a new job. There’s been a lot going on so sorry for not updating. While I still open up the app I just haven’t had time to post anything :)
Today, I have started back really trying to watch what I feed my body and I’ve take the time to be active with my boys. Hopefully these job offers will start coming through :)

Saturday’s workout was a hot one!

It had to have been almost 80 degrees at 10 am

27 minutes… Maybe quicker if I wasn’t dying of heat!

Today’s wod:
Each min on the minute: clean and jerk for 15 minutes.  Minute 1.. 1, minute 2.. 2 etc.  I made it to min 10 and continued the workout for a total of 81 reps.

now, if i could just get my eating back on track.  does anyone know of any good paleo/clean eating websites with recipes that don’t require a million different ingredients or a boatload of time?  i’m a mom of two boys with a full time job…can’t be spending hours in the kitchen or spending an hour grocery shopping for ingredients for one meal :)

i was not feeling this workout. it looked fun initially but i rushed from work (drove a good 80 mph) to make it to the last class at the gym.  no time to stretch or warm up and 55#, which normally feels light, felt heavy.  i actually just did a 45# bar for the overhead squats. i was lacking the energy after working 10+ hours without sitting down, plus hadnt eaten in 8 hours before this wod.  still did it in 11:53 though :)

rx in 29:?? it was less than 30 minutes.  def hurt the side of my knee doing the lateral hops.  by saturday night i was struggling to straighten/bend my leg.  all good now though
